We perform overhauls of engines, which include disassembly and defecting of the engine, procurement of necessary spare parts, inspection / repair of the engine block and head and assembly according to the standards specified by the manufacturer.
Often, the cost of overhauling an engine makes you think about buying another used engine, which also means taking some risks. In cooperation with partners, we supply used engines from all over Europe.
What most often leads to engine overhaul:
· No car maintenance has been performed according to the standards specified by the manufacturer
· Improper repairs to the engine or any other unit that affects engine performance have been done in the past
· In case of timing belt / drive chain defect
· Prolonged engine overload
· Natural wear and tear, depleted engine resource
When finding a defect with a turbine, we offer customers three repair solutions:
· Install a new turbine
· Install an industrially refurbished turbine
· Renovate / restore an existing turbine
The first option is always much more expensive, the cost of a new turbine usually ranges from 800.00 - 2500.00 EUR.
The second and third options are very similar in terms of costs 250.00 - 500.00 EUR, by installing an industrially refurbished turbine we are able to save time, we choose the third option when it is not possible to buy the second option.
Turbine disassembly / assembly for each car is very different, as well as cost. When replacing the turbine, it is absolutely necessary to wash lubrication pipes, cooler (intercooler) and coolant pipes with the ultrasonic method in order to clean all these elements from foreign bodies / burns and oils. If the turbine heavily pushes oil into exhaust system, the condition of the catalyst and / or soot filter (DPF) must be checked and, if necessary, washed.
When all these items have been executed, the engine air filter / oil filter and oil must be changed.
Manufacturer has determined replacement interval or resource of chain set for each engine.
Average interval of replacement of chain set is 200,000 km.
We offer replacement of chain set on diesel or gasoline vehicles of all brands, however, most recently we work with BMW 2.0D and 3.0D (M47,N47, M57, N57) engines or AUDI and VW 3.0D and 4.2D engines.
First symptoms that the limit of engine chains has been reached:
• rattling sound upon starting the engine;
• rattling sound of running warm engine;
• uneven engine running.
Such cases warn of damaged chain slide-blocks, chain tensioners, and worn gearwheels or stretched chains.
Failure to eliminate engine problem of such kind at the right time may result in broken engine chain, which means extensive engine repairs.
This procedure varies between engines; special tools are required to correctly adjust all the gearwheels and chains according to marks.
It is important to properly wash and degrease all the removed parts, engine covers, valve cover and crank case.
During this repair, we wash all of these parts in ultrasound bath.

Upon commencement of this work, it is important to supply and replace all the required parts. Various incomplete chain sets are available on the spare part market, for example, sets without gearwheels, but extensive wear of gearwheels are faced with various engines.
It is necessary to obtain all the necessary gaskets and seals to avoid oil leaks after the repair.
When all the necessary components are replaced, the engine is repeatedly rotated towards the running direction for the technician to be able to repeatedly see that all the gearwheels and chains are in their correct positions.
